Meeting Jancis Robinson MW and having a brief chat on sherry will go high on my list of wine memories I'll always cherish, especially with this lovely personal note on the 5th ed. of the Oxford Companion. I wish we could talk more, but I am humbled this was possible at all!

Jancis, I promise to keep drinking and talking about sherry!

During a grand tasting presented at Weinakademie Österreich, Jancis showed us 17 wines that have been particularly important to her for various reasons. The wines were without a doubt memorable, but an evening with Jancis is an evening with Jancis - we could drink anything and it would still end up being an amazing memory.
