About me

About me

I'm a wine enthusiast, wine communicator and educator. I started writing about wine on a personal blog in 2010, and today, Winne Przygody is one of the few oldest still active Polish wine journals. That’s how my interest in wine began and evolved through the years, providing me with opportunities to write for printed press — Magazyn WINO and Ferment.

In 2018 I passed the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and in 2025 I graduated from Weinakademie Österreich, holding the Weinakademiker title as well as the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines. I was awarded the Vinea Wachau scholarship to support my studies and the Peter Hampson Memorial prize for the candidate with the best results in viticulture & winemaking. I'm also a Certified Sherry Wine Specialist, a title awarded by the Wine Scholar Guild and The House of Lustau.

My main interests in wine are on two far ends of the spectrum — wines from cooler climates and fortified wines. I’m particularly fond of Polish wines and the bustling Polish wine scene, Madeira and Sherry.

I currently write for Winne Przygody (in Polish) as well through social media platforms (primarily in English).
